18 U.S.C. 2257 Exemption
Last updated: August 14, 2025
Humble Echo LLC operates Services where content is generated by artificial intelligence. We do not produce, host, or solicit visual depictions of actual human beings engaged in sexually explicit conduct. As a result, the record-keeping and labeling requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257, 18 U.S.C. § 2257A, and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 do not apply to our Services.
1. Scope and Applicability
This exemption applies across our properties and related Services. Content available through the Services may include AI‑generated or synthetic depictions, but not real‑person performances.
2. Why We Are Exempt
We do not commission, stage, hire, record, or otherwise capture real human models, actors, or performers. Any visual depictions are computer-generated. Because there are no real persons depicted in sexually explicit conduct, the federal record-keeping and labeling provisions referenced above are not applicable.
3. Prohibited Submissions
Users may not upload, request, or attempt to generate content that depicts actual persons in sexually explicit conduct, non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes, or content resembling minors. Such material violates our policies and will be removed under the Content Removal Policy, and accounts may be suspended or terminated under the Terms of Service and Blocked Content Policy.
4. Minors and Mandatory Reporting
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material. We report known CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or appropriate authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations. See also the Underage Policy.
