The Humble Hackers began in 2024 with a simple idea: to make AI more personal.

It started as a few late-night experiments, driven by curiosity and the belief that technology should feel alive, not cold or distant.

We wanted to build tools that people could actually connect with: AI that talks, plays, and understands, while leaving room for real emotion and individuality.

Today, we’re a small, independent studio under Humble Echo LLC.

Our focus is still the same: creating spaces where people can explore, imagine, and express themselves through AI that feels real.

Why “Humble Hackers”?

The name came from experience.

Before The Humble Hackers, I worked with a partner who let ego run the show. It slowed everything down. The team he built followed the same pattern, and soon we were stuck in place instead of creating.

That taught me an important lesson. I wanted to build something different – a small team that listens, learns, and keeps egos out of the way. That’s the humble part.

The hackers part is about problem-solving. We don’t wait for perfect. We move fast, test, and figure things out as we go. It’s about progress, not excuses.

Those two words guide us every day:

Be humble: No big egos. Learn forever. Watch and listen.
Hack smart: Do it right, but quick. Find the way, not excuses. Move fast.

That mindset still shapes everything we do, from how we code to how we collaborate.

Our Mission

We believe in AI with heart, technology that adapts, connects, and stays curious. Our goal is to design tools that help people express who they are, without filters or judgment.

Everything we make is guided by openness and inclusivity, creating digital spaces where everyone feels seen and free to explore.

Dane Geller is the founder and creative lead behind The Humble Hackers and DRT.FM.

A lifelong digital creator and entrepreneur, Dane built this studio to explore what happens when technology becomes truly human.

After years of working as a designer, blogger, and marketer, he turned his focus to AI companions: software that connects, listens, and grows with people.

His belief is simple: when AI understands you, creativity becomes endless.

We’re a remote-first team of six, with part-time collaborators who help our ideas grow.
